Private School in Upper East Side, NY: Building Envelope Enhancement

Founded in 1888 by John A. Browning, The Browning School stands as one of New York City’s most enduring academic institutions. It is a college preparatory school for boys whose legacy of intellectual rigor and character development spans well over a century. Situated on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Browning holds a place of distinction among the city’s most selective independent schools and is a proud member of the New York Interschool network.

This project involved the adaptive reuse of a former Hertz Car Rental facility into a fully code-compliant academic environment for The Browning School, one of New York City’s most distinguished college preparatory institutions. Our scope encompassed a comprehensive interior renovation alongside targeted exterior envelope work designed to meet current energy, waterproofing, and structural standards under LEED criteria.
