Whin Music Community Charter School, NY, NY.
WHIN Music Community Charter School is the first school in the Northeast developed out of El Sistema, the internationally acclaimed Venezuelan model for social action through music. Rooted in the belief that the musical ensemble is the most powerful teaching tool for academic growth, character formation, and leadership development, WHIN brings that philosophy to life in Washington Heights, one of New York City’s most vibrant and culturally rich communities.

The Design and installation of a multi-color, multi-thickness EIFS system across three facades, translating the school’s vibrant identity and musical mission into the architectural expression of the building’s exterior. The scope also involved a full roof assembly system including the installation of ballasted pavers over the roofing membrane, providing durable surface protection, drainage management, and a maintainable finish for long-term building performance in its two terraces, main roof and bulkhead area.
