Built over Lake Maracaibo, the restaurant offers serene panoramic views, complemented by tailored landscape and bespoke lobby and bar design. Maria Bahia Gastro Bar has its design roots in traditional indigenous groups (Guajiros) near Maracaibo, Venezuela. Where a colorful pallet and organic elements, such as gravel walls, painted wooden bar and geometric patterns immerse customers in a tribal experience.

Set within the former Gabbana nightclub, this 5,500-square-foot project transforms an iconic venue of Maracaibo’s night life into a refined dining destination. The scope included full envelope restoration, roofing replacement, and a comprehensive interior redesign with new flooring, tubular partitions, upgraded kitchen to enhance safety and personnel flow, bathrooms improvements, and handcrafted pebble stone walls.

New architectural insertions integrate seamlessly with the original structure, expressed through custom furniture, rich upholstery, murals, and geometric patterns that evoke a distinctive ethnic aesthetic.
